News from the International Office
Due to the measures to contain COVID-19 and the physical closure of the University, we have to let you know that courses
with physical attendance as usual in the artistic area might not happening in this summer semester, but at least up to April 17th. The Angewandte is working as much as it can to deliver
online learning and teaching tools, to keep education happening.
Please do stay in touch with your home university and your home country for recommendations on the situation, so you can make your own personal decisions.
I also ask you to only write to firstname.lastname@example.org at the moment, because this mailaddress is in permanent use, we are also reachable via phone: +43 1 711 3170 !
Let us know if you decide to travel back home, so we are informed!
RETURN TRAVEL OPTIONS - Outgoings
Due to the measures to contain COVID-19, the Foreign Ministry advises to return to Austria.
Due to the increasing restrictions in air and travel traffic, the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs recommends to refrain from all unnecessary trips. Austrian travellers abroad are strongly advised to take advantage of the currently still available return travel options.
It is your personal decision how you choose. All bureaucratic matters will be dealt with flexibly and according to the situation by the OeaD (Erasmus grant) and us.
It will give you the opportunity to register into the online course options, ie. to participate in the currently flexible “regular operation” of the Angewandte. This is now possible in the near future.
Information about Corona-Virus (Covid-19)
Due to the COVID-19 measures, the International Office is reduced in operation.
We process all email inquiries, by phone you may reach us under +43 1 711 33 3170. Until April 17th 2020 we have no opening hours.
Stay safe in solidarity!
