Cooperation project between the University of Applied Arts Vienna & the OeAD GmbH - Agency for Education
and Internationalization.
We celebrate 35 years of Erasmus+! Erasmus+ is one
of the most successful projects of the European Union, its greatest peace project. Not only a reason to celebrate, but also
a reason to look at Erasmus+ and mobility in its entirety. For this purpose we invite all regular students of the University
of Applied Arts Vienna (incl. regular exchange students of the Angewandte) to a creative competition:
- 1st
prize (EUR 1.000,-)
- 2nd prize (EUR 600,-)
- 3rd prize (EUR 300,-)
SUBMISSION
There are few limits to the realization of an artistic work (e.g. collage, sculpture,
poetry, video, performance, ...). The only requirement is that old printed materials of the
OeAD - Agency for Education
and Internationalization must be used in some way for this purpose, which can be viewed and collected from the International
Office from 19. July 2022. The collection of the materials is possible on Tuesdays 14-16h and Wednesdays 13-15h in the PSK,
International Office, Rosenbursenstrasse 3, 1010 Vienna, upper ground level, room: 010 without appointment. In order to ensure
fairness, the International Office reserves the right to decide how many printed materials can be distributed in each case.
In general, however, the "first come, first served" principle applies.
Applications are made by registering using
the online form (
https://form.jotform.com/221874936226362)
with
details of your work. After registration, an automated email with an upload link will be sent to you. Via this link the documentation
of your work has to be uploaded. Only complete applications will be accepted.
SELECTION
Based on this documentation,
ten works will be invited to the award ceremony and exhibition, which will be on display during the worldwide #ErasmusDays
from 13./14. October 2022 for all university members and the general public at the University of Applied Arts Vienna Lichthof
A (grey) at Oskar-Kokoschka-Platz 2, 1010 Vienna). The award ceremony of the three winning projects will take place ibid on
13. October 2022.
In addition, all or a selection of the submitted works will be shown at a slideshow during the 35 year
Erasmus+ -festival of the OeAD on 11. October 2022 at Palais Wertheim in Vienna.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Thematic
realization, originality of the content, use of the OeAD's printed material.
