The University of Applied Arts holds the required ERASMUS Charta 2014-2020 for the offered programmes of ERASMUS+.

With the Policy Statement the Angewandte agrees on internationalisation and mobility in the context of higher education.

General requirements for ERASMUS+

Applicants must be full-time students of the university (min. 3 semester BA / Dipl. - no min. semester with MA).

No age limit! The amount of the scholarship is graduated in line with the guest nation between EUR 360 and EUR 460.

Additional support for students with disability or chronic illness as well as students with children is available!
Students, who recieve the Austrian STUDIENBEIHILFE (StudienbeihilfenbezieherInnen), can apply for "Beihilfe zum Auslandsstudium" (BAS) and will receive the full ERASMUS+ grant!

No study fees have to be paid for the semester(s), in which the international stay occurs (nonetheless the fee for the Austrian Union of University Students must be paid for each semester).

ERASMUS+ Internships for students

You must be a regular student of the University of Applied Arts Vienna (EU, EWR or a third country national, who has lived in Europe for at least one year).
You need to orgnaize an acceptance at an internship-place by yourself!

No age limit! The amount of the scholarship is graduated in line with the guest nation between EUR 460 and EUR 560.

Additional support for students with disability or chronic illness as well as students with children is available!
Students, who recieve the Austrian STUDIENBEIHILFE (StudienbeihilfenbezieherInnen), can apply for "Beihilfe zum Auslandsstudium" (BAS) and will receive the full ERASMUS+ grant!

 

ERASMUS+ Internships for graduates

If you are interested in Internships for graduates, you have to apply before you end your study and complete your internship within the 12 months after your graduation. You may not be registered in any University during your internship!
 
Further
You must be accepted for an internship placement before your application. The University cannot arrange an internship placement for you. So if you have already found a placement abroad in an European country, you can apply for an ERASMUS+ internship.

Duration
a minimum of 2 full months, up to a maximum of 12 months

Application
you have to apply 2 months in advance due to higher effort!
Applications have to be made at the International Office!

NOTE: You can apply for an ERASMUS+ internship even if you have already completed an ERASMUS+ study stay abroad.
