The Ö1 Talent Scholarship, valued at 10.000 EUR, is intended to promote emerging talent among students studying at one of the following five universities: Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, University of Applied Arts Vienna, University of Art and Design Linz, Mozarteum University Salzburg, and University of Art Graz.

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange programme which gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in other Single Market Programme (SMP) Participating Countries, while giving experienced entrepreneurs access to innovative ideas and new partners and/or markets. 

The Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation finances an exchange programme that supports research stays between Austria and the USA, primarily for students of technology, natural sciences and economics.

ASEA-UNINET Project Funding aims to promote bilateral and multilateral projects in the areas of research, research-led teaching and the arts between the Austrian ASEA-UNINET member universities (incl. candidate members) and member universities in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

For students of the University of Applied Arts Vienna holding Austrian citizenship, the Fred Adlmüller Scholarship Foundation provides for the academic year 2025/26 6 annual scholarships of EUR 2,000 each, one of which is specifically designated for the field of Fashion.

 

For students from EEA countries or third countries (who are not eligible under the statutes of the Fred Adlmüller Scholarship Foundation), the University of Applied Arts Vienna awards under the title “Fred Adlmüller International Student Grant” 2 additional annual scholarships of EUR 2,000 each, one of which is specifically designated for the field of Fashion.

Reinventing placemaking / Revealing matter’s potential on the island of Crete, Greece.

The Salettl Residency Programme will take place for the fifth time in 2026 and aims to offer artists the opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with the community of the Kleine Stadt Farm and the surrounding area in order to develop a project on site.

The call for applications is open to artists who, drawing on the Donaustadt district’s annual theme of ‘Excess’, submit a project specifically tailored to the context of the Kleine Stadt Farm community farm.
 

Joshibi University of Art and Design announces an open call for applications for the JOSHIBI Artist-in-Residence (JOSHIBI AIR) 2026 program, open to alumni of our international partner institutions and networks.

Gut Oggau, a biodynamic wine estate located in Burgenland, Austria, is known internationally for their wines and strong visual identity. Recently they have also launched a new brand, Gut Feeling, which is a non alcoholic botanical beverage made from herbs from in and around their farm.

This vegetation season, they are inviting curious, visual storytellers to join them at their biodynamic estate in Burgenland, Austria for a Photography Internship & Creative Residency. They are looking for someone who wants to create on-site amidst vineyards, herbs, animals, and gastronomy, while developing their own visual voice and producing real brand campaigns and content.

Im Rahmen der Lehrveranstaltung Forschungswerkstatt an der Hochschule Campus Wien widmet sich eine Gruppe Studierender der Fragestellung, wie sich der Preis von Kunst von Menschen mit Behinderungen zusammensetzt. Dabei soll ein Vergleich zwischen Tagesstrukturen und freischaffenden Künstler*innen gezogen werden. Für dieses Forschungsvorhaben werden Interview-Partner*innen gesucht.

Stromkilometer is both a prize and a challenge that is awarded to students, alumni and also employees of the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

This call invites researchers to submit proposals for exploratory, interdisciplinary research projects that advance the conceptualization of resilience in relation to selected crises—primarily with regard to their societal dimensions. The project must be led by a social scientist. Projects should initiate structured collaboration with other scientific disciplines and with relevant practitioner communities, and employ methodological approaches capable of anticipating potential future crises.
