Finance
  • In collaboration with the Rector: Preparation of the budget proposal for submission to the University Council
  • Preparation of recommendations for the Rector regarding the allocation of budget funds to individual institutes, special university facilities, and departments
  • Process management regarding the use of budget funds and third-party funding management
  • Financial management, including cash flow management, financing, financial accounting, and asset management
  • Bookkeeping, taxes, and financial reporting, as well as accounting and controlling
  • Cost and performance accounting
  • Financial management of the university
  • Preparation of the annual financial statements for approval and preparation of all financial reports
  • Representation of the university in external financial and budgetary matters in coordination with the Rector
  • Internal control system and internal audit
  • Resource planning and procurement of infrastructure
 
Real Estate
  • Space development planning
  • Real estate projects: new construction, renovations, and refurbishments in coordination with the Rector, with overall responsibility for construction projects
  • Representing the university in rental and construction matters vis-à-vis BIG and other legal entities
  • Real estate management
 
Infrastructure
  • Building, security, and infrastructure management
  • Facility management
  • Event management
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of the university and the needs-based development of the university infrastructure (buildings, technology, logistics, services)
