COVID-19: PCR test obligation extended until Easter

09. March 2022
Dear University Members,

Due to the rapidly increasing number of infections in Austria and unfortunately also within the Angewandte, we have decided to extend the PCR testing requirement until Fri, April 8, 2022 (beginning of the Easter vacation).
This decision was made due to multiple requests and under the condition that the test offer will continue to be available free of charge.

Access to the university buildings will therefore continue to be possible only with proof of a negative PCR test (not older than 48h) between 8am and 8pm. A corresponding certificate (including QR code) and a photo ID must be carried and presented at the entrances.  Persons who have had a Corona infection within the last 90 days do not need a PCR test. In this case, appropriate proof must be presented for access (recovery certificate, isolation notice).

Please find the detailed access regulations here.

We thank you for your understanding.

With best regards
Gerald Bast, Bernhard Kernegger, Barbara Putz-Plecko, Eva Maria Stadler and Maria Zettler
