«Much Wants More» is a short film that addresses the fragility of ecosystems. The film takes the viewer on a journey to a
world long gone and shows how the life of the Gabonionti might have developed.
In order to make the fictional world tangible for viewers, the narrative was filmed using stop-motion technology. Handmade creatures made of Japanese paper reflect the fragility of the natural structures and help to feel empathy for the characters.
Access to light, as an important resource for all living beings, plays a central role.
As long as this is granted to all, the various species remain in balance with themselves and their environment until an unexpected
event occurs and sets the system out of balance.
This project is about the insatiable pursuit of expansion and how the behavior of one individual and the chain reactions that come with it can change an entire system.
