For Open House 24, ZFF will present its general conceptual framework, Sea Grapes, which will
guide its series of activities under the new leadership of Univ.-Prof. Miya Yoshida. This framework symbolizes the opening
up of the research process and fosters the potential for multiple forms of connection to elaborate what “research” is as well
as could be.
In line with the idea of Sea Grapes concept, ZFF invites doctoral students and colleagues to participate
in presenting your research project and ideas on research in Room 1, VZA7, sometime between 1 pm to 2 pm on November 5, 2024.
There are two possible formats for participation:
A) 10-Minute Performative Presentation
of Your ResearchWe will set up a "speech corner," where you can stand on a chair in the centre of the room
and share your thoughts on “research” and present your research in a ten-minute performative format. For this format, there
are six spots available.
B) On-Site LibraryWe invite you to lend us an object, book, quote,
or any item that is important to your research, along with a brief explanatory text about its significance. These items will
be displayed on three shelves in the room as part of the presentation.
If you want to participate in either A)
10-Minute Research Presentation or B) On-Site Library, please contact
Marianna Mondelos: marianna.mondelos@uni-ak.ac.at.
The event taking place in the room will be documented.
