Do
not come to the Angewandte if you experience symptoms of illness and immediately clarify your health status by means of a
PCR test or at least a rapid antigen test for a possible Covid-19 infection! The same applies to anyone who has had
contact with a person infected with Covid-19 without taking protective measures.
Employees in teaching and
research as well as in planning, service and administration as well as students with a Covid-19 infection are not allowed
to enter the university despite the absence of symptoms or a mild course of the disease and are still obliged to report the
Covid-19 infection immediately to the Covid Staff Office of the Applied Sciences (
covid@uni-ak.ac.at,
+43 664 883 45 033) by presenting the positive PCR test result.
Employees* who are unable to work due to
their Covid-19 illness must call in sick in the same additional manner as before.
In consultation with their
supervisors, employees who test positive but are symptom-free may perform work in the home office, regardless of an existing
home office agreement, to the extent that this is reasonable and possible.
Entering the
university is possible after 5 days if symptom-free, if a free test has been performed and a negative PCR test result is available.
After 10 days, the university can be entered in any case - except if the PCR test result is still positive.
We will send out updated information on this topic in time for the start of the new academic year.
With best wishes for a beautiful summer
