university members,
As announced, we would like to inform you about an adjustment to our COVID
operating scenario.
Since the development of the current situation is not foreseeable
and our priority continues to be the maintenance of university operations, taking into account the greatest possible protective
measures in the interest of the health of students and staff, we will continuously evaluate the operating scenario of the
Angewandte under observation of the infection situation and, if necessary, tighten it up. Our focus is primarily on ensuring
that artistic courses and examinations – including final examinations – are held on site while minimising health risks for
staff and students as much as possible.
Should circumstances arise in the next few days that make it necessary to
reassess the Covid measures, we ask for your understanding now if we have to inform you of any changes at short notice if
necessary.
From Monday 10.1.2021, the following regulations will apply at Angewandte
until further notice:

The FFP2 mask must be worn at all times in all indoor areas of the university and may only be removed when
alone in a room. For outdoor areas, the same new regulation applies as in public spaces.
– For
the examination of artistic theses, it must be ensured that participation is also possible online.
–
As a matter of principle, academic courses take place in online mode. If this is not possible/meaningful
for reasons of content, on-site holding is permissible in consultation with the respective head of department.
–
Events and exhibitions on university premises - with the exception of the Heiligenkreuzerhof University Gallery
- are not possible.
– The graduation will be postponed to March 2022, more
detailed information will follow.
– Office work should increasingly take place
in the home office, if possible and in consultation with the supervisor.
– Meetings
will take place online as far as possible.
– To ensure university operations, groups are
to be formed within administrative departments that do not work on site at the same time.
In
order to continue to keep the incidence of infections at the Angewandte as low as possible, we urge you, regardless
of your vaccination status, to get tested regularly several times a week by PCR and to implement all hygiene measures
carefully in the usual manner.
