Ecologies and Politics of the Living
An exhibition
by the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the Angewandte Innovation Lab as part of the Vienna Biennale for Change 2021.The exhibition explores the interactions of all organisms and processes found on planet Earth and the interplay of
animate and inanimate environments - against the backdrop of a politically and economically interwoven world. The works offer
a view on the " third nature" and illustrate what, despite human manipulation and various contaminations of the capitalist
system, is able to stay alive and enter into new relations, coexistences and synergies.

Collective Action ViewerA contribution by the University
of Applied Arts Vienna as part of the Vienna Biennale for Change 2021.
Interactive media sculpture by Verena Tscherner
and Joerg Auzinger at Karlsplatz.
The consequences of the global climate crisis are still abstract and diffuse
for many people. With their work Collective Action Viewer, the artist duo makes the effects of the global climate catastrophe
visible and comprehensible for the viewer. One look through binoculars - and a virtually animated flood scenario is reversed.
The interactive media sculpture will be freely accessible around the clock at Karlsplatz during the VIENNA BIENNALE
FOR CHANGE 2021.
