do artists research through phenomena, that is, through the specific ways in which their objects of inquiry appear? Which
research practices have phenomenologists developed in order to understand the pre-reflective structures of experience?
Through Phenomena Themselves is one of the research cells that configure the Research Pavilion at
the Venice Biennale 2019. This research cell is a framework to explore new possibilities of mutual transformation, refinement
and hybridization between practices developed in the fields of artistic and phenomenological research.
