Hobby Lobby instructors offer a weekly one-hour course for children between 8 and 15 years old. A
Hobby Lobby Standortleiter*in is present at each course unit to provide support and take care of organizational matters such
as attendance lists and communication with parents.
In recent semesters, courses were designed around topics such
as biodiversity in public spaces and awareness of nature through observation and playful artistic exploration. The kids were
drawing, painting and creating objects and houses with ceramics and wood and other natural materials. Last Semester they explored
stop-motion animation. At the intersection of art and ecology, children were encouraged to remain curious and explore their
creative abilities in a collective context.
