Email Contact

After the processing of your admission application (which can last up to 14 days especially at the beginning of the admission period) the Office for Student’s and Academic Affairs will get in touch via email, either to clarify any open questions or to forward payment details for the transfer of your student fees/ÖH-Beitrag and the request to register your details with Statistik Austria. If necessary, an application for a waiver/reduction of fees can be made – see dieangewandte.at/stubei_en.

ATTENTION
We do not recommend enquiries before 14 days have passed, since this only delays the processing.
Please make sure BEFORE getting in touch that you indicated the correct email address and there are no messages in your spam folder.

3

Admission and login details

After receiving the student fees/ÖH Beitrag on the account of the university (bank transfers can last up to 4 days) and after registration of the necessary details with Statistik Austria you will receive the login details for your student account. This is where you will find your ‘Studienblatt’ and confirmation of study.
If after 4 days you have not received confirmation about the successful admission to your degree, please get in touch with the Office for Student’s and Academic Affairs at studien@uni-ak.ac.at.

ATTENTION
Without successfully completing admission (winter semester by the end of October, summer semester by the end of March) you are not eligible to attend courses or take exams of the respective term.
