game art to cast a critical spotlight on the techno-feudalist and platform-capitalist harvesting of biometric data. The focus
is on the development and proliferation of AI systems, which have gained rapid momentum since the first edition.
This publication is an emanation of the artistic research project Neuromatic Game Art: Critical Play with Neurointerfaces
led by Margarete Jahrmann, head of Experimental Game Cultures at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. The project was supported
by the program for arts-based research (PEEK) from the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
