On 15 January 2025, Ulrike Kuch was officially
inaugurated as the new Rector of the University of Applied Arts Vienna. The guiding theme of the event was the question Who
are we?. This question was explored through speeches, performances, and a film, followed by a lively celebration.
As part of the ceremony, Rector Ulrike Kuch also introduced her rectorate team: Clemens Apprich
as Vice Rector for Science, Research, and Digitality; Martina Griesser-Stermscheg as Vice Rector for Art,
Teaching, and Learning; Gerhild Steinbuch as Vice Rector for Cooperative Disciplinarity, Engagement, and
Innovation; and Maria Zettler as Vice Rector for Finance and Infrastructure.
