Angewandte
is sad and moved by the death of Vivienne Westwood. As one of the utmost exceptional designers, artists and as a very committed
activist on the most relevant issues of our time, her passing is a great loss – to the world of fashion and far beyond.
Her
voice in the discourse on fashion and in the fight for human rights, environmental and animal protection as well as societal
issues will be missed!
As guest professor in the Department of Fashion the so called "Modeklasse"
from 1989-1991, she inspired students and colleagues with her very own passionate and individual commitment.
These
