The Doctoral Centre at the University of Applied Arts Vienna is the central point of contact for doctoral students at the
Angewandte.
Services
The Doctoral Centre creates synergies in the supervision, communication, and administration of doctoral projects and strengthens
the exchange between the doctoral programmes at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. The Doctoral Centre provides information
about doctoral studies and offers moderated formats for networking as well as opportunities for initiating projects and collaborations.

Self-Conception
The Doctoral Centre is an orientation and coordination hub for doctoral studies and creates a forum for exchange between students
and supervisors. This ensures the diversity and potential of research-based work at the Angewandte, promotes its institutional
development and raises its profile both nationally and internationally.
Resources
The doctoral Centre provides supporting research infrastructures and exchange formats as well as measures to promote skills
development. The Doctoral Centre also supports activities in research funding with a view to internal and external funding
programmes.
