Kerstin von Gabain: Das Skulptur

"On my way home, I regularly observe how attractions, too, are made up of individual parts. It begins with a seductive, reflective surface. The shimmering material turns into a container, held up from below. A long, thin ladder makes me imagine the ascent. During assembly the individual parts fly through the air, carried by chains, as they are lowered into place. The matte black of the facades and structures is darker than the night. A shimmering candy wrapper blows past me, startling me as I look up. You really don't want to go down this slide." Katharina Hölzl
