We are thrilled to
announce an exciting discussion hosted by DESIGN INVESTIGATIONS @anabjain @dieangewandte
On 14th December,
we present 'Possible Futures of (Design) Education’, an online and in-person event that explores futures of education, with
a specific focus on design. Please follow the link in our bio to register your free spot via Eventbrite.
We are honoured to have pioneering educators, thinkers, and practitioners from around world joining
us to discuss what possible futures of (design) education we could help shape, provoking proactive imaginings of the future
while inviting students and educators alike to forge different relationships in the present.
The
rapid growth of AI, urgency of climate change and interconnected crises highlight the necessity of radically reimagining education.
The monolithic assumptions and goals of education, which have been complicit in shaping the worlds we live in, must be (re)examined
and (re)defined to navigate uncertainty. But how? What tools and methodologies can we adopt to go beyond the human-centred
approaches and cultivate hope in times of crises?
Following this discussion, two young respondents
will share their thoughts, followed by a Q&A from the audience.
We look forward to seeing you!
