Gender Art Lab (GAL): Sybille Bauer-Zierfuß

Sybille Bauer-Zierfuß is a filmmaker, media artist & researcher. She was born in Linz (Austria), but is currently based in Vienna. Bauer’s art explores topics such as autism, structural violence, (auto)biographical work, death, grief & abuse. Through her intimate and very personal works, that do not shy away from the unpleasant, she received numerous stipends and awards. Her work was exhibited and screened internationally.
