Creativity is considered one of the
last skills that only humans possess. The creation of something unique, original and new, that cannot be determined by algorithms.
Creativity
is also considered the ‘last bastion’, in which humans perform better than AI.
Science distinguishes between different
types of creativity. For example “Little-C“, the skill to solve everyday problems imaginatively or “Big-C“, to create something
completely new that also has an impact on society. Chatbots that are asked the same simple question as humans, generate on
average answers and ideas that are equally creative.
However, how
certain can we still be given the rapid development of AI? For humans, certainty is an assured fact, a strong feeling that
leaves little room for doubt. But will AI soon be able to surpass human creativity? And is the end of certainty imminent?
We
would like to answer these questions in our next installment of the series ‘Digital Humanism- Shaping Transformation’.
