In her doctorate in artistic research, Barbis Ruder investigates body-object
interfaces. Using a selection of artworks, the relationships and interactions between body and object were performed, sensed
and analysed.
The results of the research will be presented in the context of the presentation:
– The publication
Barbis Ruder: Work – Cycle Body including the reflexive documentation Sensual Instruments and Performative Processes: Relations
and Interactions between Body and Object.
– The installation “Lean In” with the Sensual Instrument “Little Friend”, a
work of art that can also be used by the viewer.
– An application of Performative Processes in the context of a workshop
the Body-Object Intersection Lab: The bodies and artistic objects are brought into movement and finally into contact.
