This publication is released on the occasion of the exhibition 24
1/2 by the Photography Class of Gabriele Rothemann at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, held at Atelier Augarten
in spring 2025. The book presents artistic works and supplementary texts by students and alumni from the past twenty-four
and a half years – a long period marked by a collective engagement with photography, continuously ex- panded through artistic
experimentation and the use of diverse technologies, much like in a research laboratory.
