Audience vote: The Ö1 Graphic of the Year

Janka Kocisek, a student of the Department of Drawing and Printmaking, has created three exclusive designs for Ö1 for “The Ö1 Graphic of the Year”. In addition, three other female students from Austrian art universities submitted their works. The winner will be determined by an online vote. Vote now!

Voting is open from 4 to 21 June.

“Anyone working with printmaking today has a wonderful palette of techniques at their disposal. These have been refined over centuries or are available in up-to-date forms thanks to digital advances. One can focus on the possibilities of a single technique or explore combinations of several. The potential for artistic innovation, however, does not lie in the technique as such, but in its application and in the artistic expression and content enabled and conveyed by the method chosen,” says Lecturer Jan Svenungsson.

Since 2023, the “Ö1 Graphic” has been published annually in September as part of the Ö1 Talent Exchange, in an edition of 150. Via an online vote, twelve proposals are presented to the Ö1 audience to vote on
