Sam Chermayeff will head the Studio for
Architectural Design 1 at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Chermayeff, a globally working architect and designer, has
extensive experience in urban planning, residential architecture and furniture design. His teaching philosophy focuses on
people and their living environment and aims to rethink design in an everyday context. This is particularly important in view

inspire students to develop new perspectives for the design of our built environment.
