16. August 2023
British designer Craig Green will take over as head of the fashion class at the University of Applied Arts Vienna on October 1, 2023. “It is a real honour to join the incredible team and students of the Fashion Department at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and I’m really looking forward to working closely with them over the next three years”, Craig Green said in his first statement on the appointment to the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
Craig Green studied at the renowned Central Saint Martins College at the University of the Arts London (GB) and founded his label in 2012. He also became known for his men's fashion, which deals with the concepts of uniformity and utility. Green's work transcends the boundaries of fashion design and finds its way into the arts at large. His designs have been shown in a number of important exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York, USA). The designer has been recognized as a British Menswear Designer at the Fashion Awards 2016, 2017 and 2018, as a Menswear Guest Designer at the Pitti Uomo 94 in 2018, with the BFC/GQ Designer Menswear Fund award 2016 and as an Emerging Menswear Designer at the British Fashion Awards 2014.
