The BMBWF - in cooperation with the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF)
of the EU - is investing 40 million euros in the expansion and modernisation of existing research infrastructures as well
as in the acquisition of new high-quality (digital) research infrastructures.
The
decision on which projects will be funded has now been published. The University of Applied Arts is involved in a total of
three projects, whereby it will lead the project ÆSR Lab - Applied/Experimental Sound Research Laboratory, which will be implemented
in cooperation with the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts and the Phonogrammarchiv of the ÖAW - Austrian Academy
of Sciences.
Furthermore, the Applied Department is involved in the approved projects "Digital Humanities
Infrastructure Austria - DH-Infra.at" under the direction of the University of Graz, as well as "Austrian Research Information
& Service Network ( ARI&Sent)" under the direction of the Vienna University of Technology.
