26. June 2020
Dear members of
Today a challenging semester comes to an end. The fact that it has
taken place in alternate.mode despite the adverse circumstances is primarily thanks to you, all members of the Angewandte:
the students, the teaching and research staff and the employees in planning, service and administration.
With an unbelievable amount of effort, you have all ensured that the university was able to remain active
even in times of the pandemic-related lockdown. 95% of the courses offered by the Applied University, i.e. more than 800 seminars,
lectures and artistic teaching formats, have taken place. Although different - with much improvisation, imagination and willingness
to compromise - they did take place.
In particular, we congratulate the students who have
completed their studies in this difficult semester. You all passed your final exams with flying colours. We wish you all the
best for your further path and hope that we will meet again at the graduation ceremony in October (see below for dates).
