About
us
We are a small, committed team of eight people that live the open-source spirit and value open communication,
flat hierarchies, and the collaborative development of new ideas and solutions. Our team members come from diverse professional
and educational backgrounds: Some have traditional IT education backgrounds, while others have come to programming through
detours or career changes. We value the broader perspectives that diversity of professional backgrounds and identities brings
to both our team and to the software we develop. When we speak of diversity of identities, we mean this in a comprehensive
and intersectional sense: Half of our team identifies as women, and although we are predominantly white and have no visible
disabilities, we hope to have developed a team culture that feels welcoming and inclusive to everyone. We view diversity as
an ongoing process of development that enriches our work and our team. An open, respectful, and as inclusive as possible work
environment is important to us, and we welcome applications from people with diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.
English is our internal working language. For some meetings with internal and external stakeholders a basic understanding
of spoken German will be helpful.
