The
University of Applied Arts Vienna is looking for an administrative
support staff member (m/f/d, 10 hours per week, fixed-term contract expected to the end on March, 2032) for the Institute of Architecture
(I oA).
The position includes support with internal organizational and administrative
activities, internal and external communication and promotion, editorial activities and event organization for the I oA.
Employment requirement:
· Matura (or equivalent)
· Several years of professional
experience in office and administrative work, ideally in an academic environment
· Experience
in using image editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign) and basic knowledge in website content management systems.
· Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
We are seeking a resourceful and adaptable person with an interest
in art and architecture, combined with solid office management and communication cultures. The role encompasses a diverse
range of responsibilities and requires collaboration in an international team, as well as an appreciation for varied and multidisciplinary
tasks.
Area of responsibility:
· Assisting with the coordination, planning and organization of internal and public Institute
events
· Planning and coordination of PR activities relating to the Institute’s
public outreach, exhibitions, symposia and other event formats
· Archiving
of event documentation, PR materials
· Editorial management and administration
of the institute´s media presence and the I oA website, as well as active involvement in their further development
· Coordinating of tasks of the student assistants
· Assisting
in the orchestration of internal and external communication such as managing calendars and timetables, minutes taking, distribution
of announcements and newsletters)
· Administration of the address database
and independent mailings
Qualifications:
· Excellent knowledge and proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs and media platforms
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Work
experience in an academic or similar organization
· Flexibility and adaptability

The
monthly minimum wage for the position is currently € 782.83 gross (14 times a year, based on 10 hours per week) and can be
increased accordingly by taking into account job-specific previous experience in accordance with the collective agreement
for universities (IIIb, salary scheme for general university staff).
