20×20: 20 young designers' positions, drawing up visions for the future

To mark its 20th anniversary, designforum Wien is presenting 20 contemporary works by designers aged between 20 and 29 over a period of 20 days – including numerous works by students and graduates of the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

What the featured works have in common is an understanding of design as a tool for taking a stance, questioning social developments and exploring what design can contribute to our future.

These are also fundamental topics in the teaching and research of the design degree programmes at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Among the young designers’ works in product and industrial design, graphic design and illustration, as well as social design, there are numerous pieces by students and graduates of the University of Applied Arts Vienna

Featuring works by: Tim Adesanya, Paul Bock and Lena Pitzl, Carlotta Buchleitner, Lenz Dreher and Valentin Bauer, Carina Eglhofer, Anaïs Eriksson, Noel Grüter and Nicoletta Gulíšek, Ida Gutenbrunner, Moritz Holzleitner, Matthäus Jandl, Nadine Jochum, Sophia Krayc, Pia Marktl, Marlene Ortner and Paul Pluch, Christoph Picco, Nikolaus Potapow and Christoph Konheisner, Leo Roithner, Manuela Sevignani, Kathi Steiner and Christoph Wimmer-Ruelland.
