Orlow’s artistic practice beckons us towards what can be called a “vegetal pedagogy”:
it shows how respiring and conspiring with plants can encourage botanical decolonialisation, and stand as ethical action and
ecological repair.
The lecture opens a two-day workshop led by the artist, exploring ways of communicating with
and through plants, during which students co-create a Viennese iteration of the performance Reveries Of Collective Walkers.
The performance takes place on Wednesday July 1st, 2026 at Stadtpark Vienna in the framework of
Angewandte
Festival.
