Guest Lecture with Evelin Stermitz

The guest lecture is organised as part of the course Video-Related Media in the Department of Digital Arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and in collaboration with the Ursula Blickle Video Archive.
In her guest lecture, Evelin Stermitz will present insights into selected moving-image works and speak about her artistic strategies and individual working processes, opening up a space for exchange and discussions.

In 2008, she founded ArtFem.TV, an online video portal at the intersection of art and feminism that has received international recognition. Her works have been exhibited widely, including at the Museum of Modern Art, Buenos Aires (AR), Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, Novi Sad (RS), Museum of Fine Arts, Florida State University (US), Chelsea Art Museum, New York (US), International Museum of Women, San Francisco (US), and the New Museum, New York (US).
