urbanize! – Opening Night

It's about time! Rhythms, cycles and time regimes of the city

Angewandte Interdisciplinary Lab

For the opening of the festival, ‘urbanize!’ invites you to enter AIL and Otto Wagner’s Postsparkasse like a time capsule, where the festival will begin in spectacular fashion: After a brief overview of the 2025 festival program, dérive editor Michael Klein will guide us through the themes of the dérive anniversary editions N°100 and N°101.
Then, performance artist Lars Moritz will take us on a journey through time: 25 years of dérive – urban research? Who turned that clock?! Must be fake news! Nevertheless, we will celebrate with serious and anecdotal contributions from friends of the dérive universe, music and drinks.
Join us!
