FUNKEN
With works by students of the department of Sculpture and Space
The artistic works revolve around Vienna’s first district
and Otto Wagner’s Ankerhaus, drawn upward into the Blickle Raum as if by a chimney effect. Here, in the attic, they do not
dissolve into smoke but manifest themselves on, upon, and with Hans Schabus’s display. They gather into a choreographed spark
flight, positioned by Nina Rike Springer, making the result of this “burning process” visible.
