This publication examines the tension between abstraction
and economy from various perspectives within art, law, sociology, philosophy, and economics, addressing questions concerning
the current challenges of a global capitalist economy, characterized by its claim of unlimited growth. Inquiring into the
role of art between concretion and abstraction, our discussion unfolds around formalistic approaches to art theory that assert
autonomy. As we examine the social and economic aspects that critical theory takes into account, we seek to track down the
aesthetic regime of capitalism.
