TransArts - Transdisciplinary Art

As a result of many years of observation of artistic and curatorial practices the lecture is dedicated to the language of current art theoretical discourse. Frequently used words and terms are presented in their symptomatology for art and its contemporary reflection and explained in relation to artistic works.
Martin Hochleitner is an art historian and has been director of the Salzburg Museum since 2012.
Before that, he was director of the Landesgalerie Linz from 2000 to 2012.
He has been teaching at various universities and colleges in Austria and Germany since the 1990s. In 2013 he received the ars docendi state prize for excellent university teaching in Austria.
