Semi-documentary film plots, one's own person always
at the narrative centre: based on his own life Christoph Schwarz develops self-deprecating narratives that meander on the
border between fact and fiction. In his lecture the artist gives an insight into his working method and presents current projects.
Christoph Schwarz (*1981 in Vienna) studied visual media design at the University of
Applied Arts with Karel Dudesek, Thomas Fürstner and Peter Weibel. Typical of Schwarz's artistic work are autofictional experimental
arrangements as content, self-fulfilling prophecies as method, the cinema as ideal reception space. Many of Schwarz's films
