Featuring: The Major Arcana, dancing Skeletons, a PMS Choir and hip bone candles
The
Major Arcana meets to discuss matters at hand. Besides dancing, hunting demons, reciting medieval monophonic chants, meditating
on their guts and lighting candles, they quote pop culture, activist slogans, historic and contemporary theories on care,
emotional labour, body politics and feminism. They consider the possibility of a revolution and its links to our collective
health and available discourses on illness.
Daniela Zahlner, born in Austria in
the 80s, works with film, objects, performance, humour, despair and other people. She studied Fine Arts, Film and Film/Theatre/Media
Theory in Vienna and Glasgow.
