Public Colloquium of the Artistic Research PhD Programme (PhD in Art)

At the event, the PhD candidates have the opportunity to present the development of their current research projects.

Following a public discussion on 4 May entitled “Artistic Research and the PhD Programme”, the individual presentations by the PhD candidates take place on 5 May (in English). The colloquium is accompanied by a concluding event on the topic of “Publishing in the Context of Artistic Research”, drafted by Nikolaus Gansterer (guest professor at the PhD programme 2016/17). Together with the authors – and on the basis of selected, recently published examples – it will be discussed which hybrid formats and new strategies of publishing are to be developed to adequately present artistic research.
