Once
per annum, a public colloquium takes place in the framework of the Artistic Research PhD Programme (PhD in Art).
At the event, the PhD candidates have the opportunity to present the development of their current research
projects.
Following a public discussion on 4 May entitled “Artistic Research and the PhD Programme”, the individual
presentations by the PhD candidates take place on 5 May (in English). The colloquium is accompanied by a concluding event
on the topic of “
Publishing
in the Context of Artistic Research”, drafted by Nikolaus Gansterer (guest professor at the PhD programme 2016/17). Together
with the authors – and on the basis of selected, recently published examples – it will be discussed which hybrid formats and
new strategies of publishing are to be developed to adequately present artistic research.
