Pageworks is both a collection of artists’ publications
as well as a collaborative performance. A temporary workshop in the semi-public space of a copy shop in Vienna serves not
only as a production site and place for the multiplication of the loose elements of the publications but also as a showroom
for the whole experiment.

The research project is hosted by the Department of Media Theory at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and run by Michael
Kargl and Franz Thalmair from July 2016 through December 2018.
