The artistic research project RESET THE APPARATUS! Retrograde Technicity in Artistic Photographic
and Cinematic Practices, funded by the Program for Arts-Based Research (PEEK) of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), organizes
its first workshop in October.
It will open on October 17 at 5.30 pm with a performance by Gustav
Deutsch & Hanna Schimek and installations by Sandra Gibson & Luis Recoder at the gallery unttld contemporary (Schleifmühlgasse
5, 1040 Vienna).
The public event of the workshop will take place on October 19 at 5.30 pm at the University
of Applied Arts in Vienna (Vordere Zollamtsstraße 3, SR 21a, 1030 Vienna). Presentations by Hubertus von Amelunxen (Germany,
Switzerland), Austrian Film Museum, Gustav Deutsch (Austria), David Gatten (USA), Sandra Gibson and Luis Recoder (USA), Ruth
Horak (Austria), Nina Jukić (Croatia, Austria), Gabriele Jutz (Austria), Kim Knowles (UK), Edgar Lissel (Germany, Austria),
