The Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation finances an exchange programme
that supports research stays between Austria and the USA, primarily for students of technology, natural sciences and economics.

requirements:- Regular Master's and doctoral students as well as diploma students (2nd section)
at the University of Applied Arts Vienna
- eligible study programmes: Architecture, Conservation and Restoration, Art
x Science School for Transformation, Art & Science, Industrial Design, Digital Arts, Experimental Game Cultures, Doctoral
studies in natural sciences, technical sciences and artistic research (PhD in Art)
- The research project
submitted must have a technical background.
- Students must already have a partner university in the USA at
the time of submission.
- Marshall Plan Stipendiat*innen are not eligible for the Foreign Exchange Grant
as well as the Equality for Mobility Grant
Please also note the special calls for applications under the
Marshall Plan, which may not have a technical focus and are open to other fields of study.
Application
documents:- Letter of motivation (max. 2 pages)
- Project description (1,500–2,500 words) including
the title of the research project, supervisor at the home university, supervisor at the host university, brief description
of the research focus, objectives, detailed description of the research question, methodological considerations, workflow,
relevance and expected results.
