Competition for students of the Angewandte

Due date: 23. January 2026

On the initiative of the Autism Network Austria, all students of the University of Applied Arts Vienna are invited to submit artistic or research-based works that engage with the topic of autism. The aim of the competition is to increase the visibility of autism in various social and design contexts.

Prizes
Two equal prizes, totaling €5,000, will be awarded:

€2,500 for Visual and Media Arts
€2,500 for Education and Design

Eligibility
All currently enrolled students of the University of Applied Arts Vienna are eligible to participate.

Award ceremony & exhibition
The award ceremony takes place on 26 March 2026. Catering will be provided by the Autismus Network Austria.
