Villa Falkenhorst has been a cultural gem in the Walgau region in western Austria for a quarter of
a century. The rooms of this former industrialist`s villa and the extensive park are used today as a cultural venue, where
a variety of events take place: concerts, exhibitions, theatre and much more.
Especially the summer exhibitions at Villa
Falkenhorst have become an artistic and social benchmark not only in Vorarlberg but beyond for many years now. Every year,
the park as well as gallery rooms bear unique exhibitions, designed by well-known artists such as Josef Pillhofer, Herbert
Albrecht, Uta Belina Waeger, Tone Fink, Hubert Lampert and many more.
Over the many years in which the “Blumenegger Sommer”
has become a vital part of Villa Falkenhorst´s programme, a close relationship has been developed to classical modern sculpture
as this conception of art also reflects our ideals: living tradition and technical perfection combined with independence form
common modernisms.
