Karl Kaisel | Island of Multitude2023, Digital Film
Through various ways I got to the island. The two-dimensional outline,
usually seen from the mainland, is suddenly a three-dimensional space. Climbing over the gravel piles, Uuluti opens up. The
view that opens seems like a diverse miniature landscape. In front of me are a small shallow lake, beach, grassland, groves
and hills. The first thing that anyone can notice on the island is the smell. It’s a mix of freshness of the open sea and
stagnating mud from the shallow pits with a tiny spice of juniper. The colour of the island depends on the season. In the
summer the deep green of junipers alternates with the lighter grassland green which in turn is divided with strokes of white
from the gravel and dried mud. The colour of the junipers stays the same throughout the year but the grassland changes from
fresh green to worn-out yellow to white-ness the snow.

Ivonne Gracia Murillo | The Cut2023, Art book and installation
When it comes to the reflection of personal knowledge systems in the digital
age, we need to consider the key aspects that these systems are designed around, and the fundamental impact of our physical
senses on the way we create and remember knowledge, which digital tools neglect in many levels. The Cut is a part of an ongoing
research about how we generate ideas, and a statement on how these ideas must be collapsed from the state of superposition
of configurations that constitutes them, if we are to communicate them with others. This cut focuses on physical techniques
used for managing knowledge, including their characteristics, a reasoning behind their dynamics and a record of their effect
on the formation of the body of research. By exploring these aspects, The Cut manifests the intrinsic synergies within its
subject matter.
Malashree Suvedi | Retrospective to the I2023, Multimodale Installation,
Textilinstallation, Prosa-Poesie
I am throwing myself a retrospective, by creating a piece to piece co-dependent
exhibition. I work with memory, feminism, invisible work, gratitude, gifts from friends, textile, journal entries, logbooks,
poetry, painting, sculpture, prose writing, stories and narratives from communities, friends, and lovers. Centring myself
in a partially sincere and partially ironic way, my work is a play on the concept of a retrospective; and mainly is about
the question: “who has gotten to be the I?”. My work explores the multitudinous nature of the I: it is the narratives and
histories and structures and institutions we carry that shape us, nevertheless an individual I still exists. How many stories
are there within how many stories?
Miloš Vučićević | Post-apocalyptic Landscapes2023,
Installation
The installation aims to question the social and political perspective
towards abandoned objects, buildings, and displaced communities. and to focus attention on things that already or that might
inevitably start happening in the future. Walls of those objects break and pass through the bordered spaces we have visited
or places we remember in good and in bad spirits. Every heavy brick we carry with us is part of the house we created. We are
the ones who build the walls, dig the foundations, but also demolish when it is necessary. What happens to the memories and
customs after tomorrow and what about our future? How might be the future of the people that inhabit those areas is
one of the topics that this art installation aims to question.

How to realize a body that is in a place to name that which affects and
envelops it?As soon as the body is regarded as an example, it is excluded by its class and categories, while at the same time
it is included in the relations it forms with the world. Consequently, “body talk” is articulated by outlining a body through
its own reference, as much as through reference to the world that makes it different.

pink, a halo smudge of duckling yellow, blurred to sand and then to grey with no two dots, no trema, no umlaut, no diaeresis,
“we are going down now, haha, we, me and my body.”
a jagged feeling, a pinch in the stomach
it is dark, green and
purple, the pinch is a knot,
it is fluorescent yellowgreen, sometimes aqua blue.
The atmosphere is grey, contained.
Grey in the way dirt contains specks of all colours, but not actually dirty. I feel hazy, I guess. Over and under stimulated
at once. I do not know what to hold on to. My arms float beside, up and above me. I don’t know where they are going but I
know my fingertips are cold. But at least I have the guys, they are here with me.

„Damals und heute bin ich der Meinung, dass diese Metaphern viel mehr aussagen,
dass Risse, die einen Blick in wahre Geschichten freigegeben, viel mehr sind als die lineare Erzählung der Geschichten selbst.“
Diese Arbeit handelt von Heimweh, Heimatlosigkeit und Entfremdung. Von Plänen, die gezeichnet werden, um kurz danach in Vergessenheit
zu geraten. Von Schuhen, die nie dicht hielten. Von grünen Badewannenrändern und Handtüchern aus Papier, von nicht vorhandenen
Häusern, von vergessenen Erinnerungen. Sie handelt von Friedhöfen des Damals, die heute gebären, und von Papier aus schlecht
riechenden Rucksäcken, das Zukunft schreibt. Sie handelt von der Widersprüchlichkeit des Exils als Verbannung und Zuflucht
gleichermaßen. Sie handelt von all dem, was nie zu Hause und immer Sehnsucht ist.

let plant organisms lure me out of my well-worn patterns of thought, to imagine the possibilities they face, let them press
against the limits of my comprehension, to give myself permission to be amazed - and confused - by their lives. I wished to
be captivated by their essence and allow them to challenge my conventional ways of thinking. I wanted to envision the experiences
they encounter and to stretch my understanding to its limits, giving myself the freedom to be both astounded and perplexed
by their existence.

The internet is becoming a popular source for spiritual exploration, especially
in the context of the breakdown of traditional institutions and the challenges of the pandemic era. This has led to the emergence
of new spiritual beliefs and mythologies, often blending ancient traditions with contemporary internet references and remix
culture. While some people’s cynicism might lead them to perceive this as absurd or ironic, it reflects a deep human need
for meaning and purpose in an increasingly complex and fragmented world. The internet’s ability to derealize and dissociate
also makes it an accessible portal for reaching religious ecstasy. Ultimately, this emerging paradigm of network spirituality
represents a departure from the rigid certainties of the past and a bold exploration of new frontiers of the mind and spirit.
And I am in the middle of it all, just a girl being online. I am just channeling. I am just a vessel. That’s all. I am just
going seraphim mode.
