Studio Experimental Game Cultures
Prof. Margarete Jahrmann In the context of Ludic lecture series - Entanglements
with experimental game mechanics to overgrow art, game, play, politics and the world in relational times of non-human and
                                          human challenges.
The emerging artists project Immerea enters
fields of VR, XR, Game & Art — connected to Neural and EEG representations, play and nature. In the talk & workshop
we aim to discuss the potential of phygital/digital media for new ways of perception and experiences beyond physical representation.

The public Ludic discourse will bring up different examples from media art, performance and game development, together
with Immereas and other experimental work and research in the field (also see Neuromatic Game Art). It will take the form
of an open discussion about the role of the artist and game designers/artiststic developers in this realm. We will double-check,
in a dialogue among friends and Ludic Society members with Margarete Jahrmann, the promises, dark sides, possibilities and
challenges that virtual and extended realities might inter-play.

In a following
open end workshop we deal with different forms of interaction and perception in phygital spaces, focusing on VR and its Mixed
Reality features in the context of "experimental game mechanics“. In the workshop, participants will in small groups develop
a small prototype on the base of a provided template. To be presented at the end of the Semester...
