The group exhibition features works by students from the
Ceramics Studio and the Department of Drawing and Printmaking.
What does it
mean, to leave the known behind? To start again or to rebuild? Seeking for new beginnings, but we know where we come from.
Clay is made from stones. Charcoal is made from fire. Through sensitivity and pressure, one manifests vision and intention.
Nothing starts from nothing. A soft surface, brittle layers, papercuts. Bodies emerge, as do ideas. We look for Frankenstein-esque
traditions, the stitched-togetherness of everything. A process, or a sequence of tests. The outcome is to be discovered.
