The KKP Dirty Pink series on intersectional art pedagogies
address questions of collectivity in the arts and education, which empower intersectional and post-migrant positions.
Art education becomes world-making, when it makes space for relationality, unlearning, and
the condition of unknowing. Art education enables space for conflicting, meshing and fluid identities, and for the contamination
of the dominant language(s).
Die KKP Dirty Pink-Reihe über intersektionale Kunstpädagogik befasst sich mit
Fragen der Kollektivität in Kunst und Bildung, die intersektionale und post-migrantische Positionen verstärken. Kunstpädagogik
wird weltbildend, wenn sie Beziehungsfähigkeit (Relationalität), Ent-üben und Nicht-Wissen in die Praxis umsetzt. Sie schafft
Raum für widersprüchliche, ineinandergreifende und fließende Identitäten und für die Verschmutzung der dominanten Sprache(n)
zulässt.

discussions and presentations, presented by the project ‘SPACEX – Spatial Practices in Art and Architecture for Empathetic
Exchange’
The research project SPACEX responds to the troubling rise of populist nationalism and conflict in European
societies by engaging new publics and forging a culture that embraces diversity, difference, and discursive exchange within
cities, towns and urban sites. SPACEX proposes that inventing new and inclusive ways of living together, requires the implementation
of new transdisciplinary and cross-sectoral practices and methods, that connect spatial practice with cultural sociology,
cultural policy, critical pedagogies and behavioural economics.
The SPACEX Townhall Meeting in
Vienna is a major public event at the final stage of SPACEX and focuses on Empathetic Exchange as vital topic of SPACEX: To
discuss and make the goals of SPACEX tangible, for counteracting right wing demagogies in Europe and enhancing democratic
values through artistic and socially engaged strategies and projects of art and architecture. Especially in the perspective
of our turmoiled political situation in Europe, this event and the engagement of SPACEX altogether is more relevant
than ever.
Empathetic Exchange will produce performative situations and various other artistic formats,
for engaging and addressing the public as active participants.

as a form of cinematic activism, using the medium to force us to look closely at the past to craft a better future for oppressed
people everywhere. Beautiful, melancholy and intellectually stimulating, “Dahomey” is a documentary that should be seen by

Malaika Kegode, preisgekrönte
Autorin, Performerin und kreative Produzentin. Ihre Tätigkeit umfasst Theater, Radio, Film und Mentoring. Sie ist die Autorin
von Requite (2017) und Thalassic (2020). Ihre Show Outlier (mit der Band Jakabol) wurde als „warmherzig dargebotene, autobiografische
Gig-Theateraufführung“ beschrieben, die sich mit Freundschaft, Isolation und Sucht im ländlichen England auseinandersetzt.

This poetry reading performance grows out of the installation and performance project
WE
ARE KOMACHI, newly commissioned for the Asian Triennale Manchester 6. The original project is a collaborative work involving
two poets (Hiromi Itō and Jeffrey Angles), a dancer (Yuko Kaseki), an improvisation musician (Kanoko Nishi), and two visual
artists (Tomoko Mori and Sae Esashi).
KKP in collaboration with the Artistic Research PhD Program in Art,
Sprachkunst, and the 6th Asian Triennial Manchester.
